3 Superfood Nice Cream Recipes

Have you heard of nice cream? It’s basically a soft serve made out of frozen bananas and other super healthy ingredients. It’s pretty trendy right now and it’s easy to see why!

Pinterest is bursting with images of bikini-clad goddesses tucking into insane towers of flower-adorned, ombre-coloured nice cream bowls.

Sorry, this band wagon jump isn’t as, um, sexy. But what I can offer you are three different recipes that you can absolutely feed to your kids for breakfast, all packed with superfoods and tasting like ice cream. A total win!

Oh, and there may not be edible flowers or perky torsos in my pictures but they totally feature two chubby ‘helping’ hands. Same same.

  • almonds: 1/2 cup
  • raw cacao: 1 tablespoon

Cocoberry Nice Cream

Prep time: 15 minutes

Step 1: Soak your chia seeds in half a cup of water for 10 minutes. This softens them so little bodies can absorb the super-stuff better.

Step 3: Serve it to your kids and make yourself a cup of tea.
