Sparkle Egg Tree

The shimmery goodness creates a festive backdrop to your Easter décor.  Use it indoors, or delight your guests outside under a covered patio.

MATERIALS

  • 10 plastic eggs (make sure they have vent holes at the top)
  • Twine
  • Scissors
  • Spray Adhesive
  • Opalescent Glitter
  • Vase
  • Rock weights
  • Twigs from freshly trimmed trees or use dried branches

INSTRUCTIONS

Begin by cutting an 18” length  of twine for each egg and thread it through the vent holes at the top of the egg

Spray the egg liberally with adhesive and dip it in the glitter to coat

Repeat with the other 9 eggs

While your eggs are drying, place a few branches into your vase

Pour in the rock weights to secure the branches

Tie the eggs onto the branches, staggering heights and lengths

Knot at the top and cut the excess string

Enjoy all the sparkle as you anticipate the delight of Spring
