4 Healthy Green Treats for St. Patrick’s Day

St. Patrick’s Day is a fun day for a party. I don’t get hyper involved in the actual holiday, but I do like to make an extra batch of green food and leave little footprints in the bathtub, so my daughter thinks we’ve been invaded by leprechauns.

If you feel like getting in the spirit, but are not in the mood for green beer, here are some of our favorite green foods that are fun to enjoy!

Creamy Pasta & Peas: (image shown above) This tasty dinner is a slam dunk any night of the week, but it is really fun for St. Patrick’s Day. Why not use this as an opportunity to get your kids to eat peas!

Simple Almond Pesto: This is such a yummy sandwich spread and can always be used to toss with pasta.



Chicken, Tortellini, Spinach Soup: The spinach is a great healthy addition to this delicious, easy soup. All of our little leprechauns will gobble this up!
