DIY: Kid’s Tissue Paper “Stained Glass”

It is easy enough for them to do almost all on their own, it’s clean and the outcome is colorful and pretty. Your child will love the process and the outcome!

You’ll need:

  • Tissue Paper Squares
  • Clear Plastic Sheet
  • Double Sided Tape
  • A Window

My original thought was that these would look a bit like a stained glass window or a kaleidoscope of sorts…but then I remembered that my son is three years old. I added the double sided tape to the squares and he placed them wherever he wanted on the plastic sheet.

It was hard for me not to direct him where to place the squares, but I am so glad I didn’t. He LOVED the outcome!

Once all of the tissue squares are placed, you can hang your child’s masterpiece on the window!

I kinda love how imperfect and pretty it is. The overlapping colors make for the best outcome! Enjoy!
