The Force is basically with everyone at this point. It’s safe to say that a Star Wars party will be on the wish list of lots of kids (and some adults). You could just throw some money at a bunch of merchandise. But if you’re like me, you take an odd amount of delirious glee in crafting up creative party goods for your kids’ birthdays. Whenever party time rolls around, I think about what thing the kids are most into at the time, and try to find crafts, treats, favors, and games that work with the theme. This year (and for many to come), most kids are bound to scream for Star Wars, Star Wars, Star Wars!
One of the great things about this retro-yet-modern theme is that it works great for co-ed parties, unlike the rainbow unicorn one my daughter clamored for last year. So, to save you time (and weed out some awful ideas), I’ve rounded up some must-have Star Wars birthday party ideas that even my pink-sparkly-princess-loving daughter would totally love. Let’s get crafting, shall we?
