For Richie, giving her children good-for-them foods is her biggest priority. “Sugar is obviously a big no-no. No, no, no, definitely no Kool-Aid. There’s no juice. My kids don’t have dairy either,” she said. “Joel is not on the same page as me so I can sit here and say, ‘Oh, I wouldn’t do this, I wouldn’t do that,’ and I wouldn’t. But Joel does take Harlow out and she comes back…[and says], ‘We had pizza!’ And I’m like, ‘OK, OK.’”

Alba revealed that she is the enforcer when it comes to parenting her two daughters. “When Honor tries to do something she shouldn’t, I have to say to Cash, ‘Let her know right from the beginning that she can’t,’” she said. “I’ll put her in a timeout and tell her, ‘Think about the choices you’ve made.’ Then I’ll come back and say, ‘Now it’s time to stop crying and think.’ Then I’ll come back again and ask her, ‘Now, what did you learn?’”

J.Lo knows the power of reward when it comes to her two children, Max and Emme. “They have to good in school and they get ‘Sunday Funday’! It’s something I made up so they can behave,” Lopez told E!. “They work towards that, because they don’t get to use their iPad during the week or play videos games, or play anything else, because it’s school time.”

The Brazilian beauty knows that it’s all about sticking to your guns. “I’m very nurturing, I come from a large family and my parents were loving. But the most important thing for me as a mum is to keep my word,” the beauty recently told British Vogue. “When I say no, I mean no. I always say they have all the time in the world to sit there saying, ‘I want it, I want it’, but they are smart, and if I give it to them they know they can get away with it.”

The Mexican superstar admits that while her biggest rule relates to clean eating, it’s not always enforced. “We try to keep them very clean at home, great diet balancing everything that they eat, trying not to give them candies or sugar. But sometimes, you cannot help but get the organic lollipop or the ice cream. You feel like bad, but at the same time you feel like “Oh my god, they’re having a good time!”
