Hot cocoa just got a whole lot cuter, because it was hit by a marshmallow arrow. I’ve had an obsession with cupid’s arrows lately, but this one pulls on my heartstrings because…
- It’s cute.
- It’s yummy.
- It’s easy.
Hot cocoa and marshmallows go together like peanut butter and jelly, so a DIY cupid’s arrow made of marshmallows is in order for everyone making a cup of hot chocolate this winter. Make this for a loved one this Valentine’s Day or any time to warm up during the chilly months.
Supplies:
- Kraft Jet Puffed Stacker Marshmallows
- Wilton’s Round Linzer Cutter Set
- Long toothpicks
- Hot cocoa
Instructions:
Step 1: Use the heart shaped Wilton cookie cutter (outside the red cutter) to cut mini heart marshmallows.
Step 2: Use sharp scissors to cut a “feathered” look on a separate marshmallow. Just leave space in the middle, so a toothpick can go through it and hold it in place.
Step 3: Add two heart marshmallows to one end of the toothpick.
Step 4: Add the “feather” to the other end.
Step 5: Place the marshmallow cupid’s arrow on top of a cup of hot cocoa. The arrow makes for a tasty stir stick! Sip and enjoy!
