Are you having guests over for dinner? Whether it’s New Year’s Eve, a party, or any old evening, kill two birds with one stone by making napkin rings and placecards, in one! Older kids can even help by writing the names on the napkin rings. Try this DIY with your little ones.
Materials:
- kraft paper
- scissors
- paint pen
- hot glue gun and glue sticks
Instructions:
Step 1: Cut your kraft paper into strips measuring about 2 inches wide by 6 inches long.
Step 2: Using the paint pen, have your child write the names of your guests on the kraft paper strips. You can go as simple or as funky as you want here!
Step 3: Using the glue gun, glue the ends together to create a ring shape. (Note: Children should never handle a hot glue gun.)
Step 4: Your napkin rings should now ook like the image below. Slide them over your napkins for your holiday dinner!
