Also, this gorgeous fruit is very rich in antioxidants! Pomegranates are only in season form September through January, so get them while they’re good!

Step 1: Submerge the pomegranate in the bowl filled with water. Make sure the pomegranate is fully submerged.
Step 2: Keeping it under water, cut the pomegranate in quarters.
Step 3: Keeping the pomegranate pieces under water, break them apart and start to peel away the kernels.
Step 4: Once all the kernels are free, pour the contents of the bowl into your strainer. Pick out the kernels and eat!
