These Easy Air Fryer Oreos Will Make You a Believer

  • Grab your favorite Oreos and get ready to make a snack you and your kids will love! These easy air fryer Oreos are just like the fried Oreos from your local county fair…but a little healthier. Wrapped in a pre-made pizza dough, these air fryer Oreos are ready in less than 10 minutes! Simply unroll, wrap and bake until golden. The Oreo cookies inside become gooey and soft. They’re easy to make in big batches, so they’re the perfect dessert for a party!

You can use any variety of Oreos to make different flavors. I’m partial to classic Double Stuf Oreos, but any will work, including Golden Oreos! They’re best served warm to maintain the ultimate gooey middle. After they’ve sat for a while, you can easily re-warm them in your air fryer, toaster oven or microwave.

The dough you use to make air fryer Oreos is also subjective. I find pizza crust the easiest to use because it’s one large sheet (no pre-cuts), but some stores carry large sheets of crescent dough too. Either way, the taste is almost identical and bakes the same way. Because pizza crust starts out thicker than crescent dough, I also find that I can produce more fried Oreos with one sheet.

Here’s how to make your own fried Oreos in the air fryer!

    Prep Time:
    Cook time:
    Servings: 8-16

    • 8 Oreos
    • 1 sheet pizza dough (or crescent roll sheet)
    • Cooking spray

Step 1: Unroll the dough on a sheet or parchment or wax paper. Use a rolling pin to flatten the dough thinner, maintaining its rectangular shape.

Step 2: Cut into sections with a pizza cutter or knife (approx 8 for crescent dough, 16 for pizza dough). Place an Oreo in each section and wrap the dough around the Oreos. Pinch the dough so that it holds. It will stretch, but be careful not to rip it.

Step 3: Preheat your air fryer. Heat to 350 degrees for about 5 minutes to preheat.

Step 4: Lightly spray the inside of the air fryer with cooking spray. Then place the Oreos seam-side down so they are not touching. Depending on the size of your fryer, you may have to cook them in batches.

Step 5: Cook the Oreos at 350 degrees F for 4 minutes. Then flip the Oreos and cook for an additional 4 minutes until the pastry is golden. Let cool 5 minutes before serving.

Top with a sprinkle or powdered sugar or a sweet dipping sauce!
