The 28-year-old actress talked to British Vogue about multiple things, including her new rom-com movie, “We Live in Time.” Moreover, she got candid while opening up about how she has been wanting to find love and start “a big family.”
Florence Pugh loves the idea of a ‘big family’
“Little Women” actress Florence Pugh revealed her wish to find love and have kids during a recent interview with British Vogue‘s Raven Smith. While talking about her “We Live in Time,” she expressed that it was the right time for her to be a part of this movie, where she plays the lead, Almut. “I was at the right age for this movie to land. I was going through a lot of weird stuff with relationships last year,” she said. “I think part of the story is to not be passive, is not to let things wash over you. I want to go and find love and I want to have babies.”
Pugh then disclosed that she always loved the idea of having a big family as she herself comes from one. She explained, “Oh, I’ve always been thinking about starting a family. I’ve wanted to have kids since I was a child myself. I love the idea of a big family. I come from a big family.”
Florence Pugh claimed to have a lot of love for children. “I love kids.”, she said. The “Midsommar” actress added that she loves spending time with children. She goes straight to them whenever there is a dinner party, further revealing that she loves chatting with kids and finds it much easier since children are honest. Pugh affirmed that she has always wanted to have children but it’s a matter of “just figuring out when.”
“We Live in Time,” starring Florence Pugh and Andre Garfield, is all set to premiere in theaters in the UK on January 1, 2025.
