I love Oprah, and one of my favorite guests was Brené Brown, author of Daring Greatly. The book was an eye opener for me as a parent and as someone who tries to be a perfectionist. When I’m having a day when I can’t do anything right and everyone else seems to be doing it better, I read Theodore Roosevelt’s quote published in the book: It is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better.
