Jillian Michaels says it was difficult to stand by while her partner was in labor.
Jillian’s partner, Heidi Rhoades, had planned to go the natural route to deliver their son, but after 27 hours of labor, doctors decided to go ahead and perform a C-Section. Jillian said of the experience from her perspective: “The whole thing about Phoenix being born was hard. Watching her was awful. You can’t relieve the person. You can’t do it for them. You just have to stand there and watch.”
Heidi says that Jillian was an amazing support, despite Jillian’s helpless feeling during the birth: “Because I had the c-section, she had to jump in and do everything with Phoenix. She’s an amazing mom.”
