We eat a lot of sweet potatoes in our family and not just because they taste great, they are a nutritional powerhouse. They are full of antioxidants, anti-inflammatory properties and fibre, making them perfect for kids (and mummas) of all ages.
Sweet Potato & Mango Smoothie

Ingredients:
- 2 medium sweet potatoes, cooked
- 1 cup mango chunks
- ¼ cup mixed nuts or seeds
- 1 tsp vanilla bean powder
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon (optional)
- 4 cups milk of your choice
Directions:
STEP 1
Give the potato skin a good clean
Cook them in the oven or steam them over hot water
STEP 2
Pop everything in the blender and whiz it until all the lumps are gone and you’re left with a delicious thick smoothie.
Tip: Looking to make things quicker? Steam your sweet potato up the night before and pop it in the fridge, ready for the next morning!
