Did you watch the show last night? What’d you think of Ricky Gervais as the host?

Awards-wise were there any surprises for you? Did your favorites win? I’m happy for Laura Linney – ‘The Big C’ is one of my new favorite shows.  She didn’t make it to accept the award because her father passed away this weekend.

Below are a few of the night’s memorable red carpet fashions.  Did anyone else think a good number of men were having a TERRIBLE hair day? It was crazy!

Olivia Wilde was one of my favorites of the night.  This shot doesn’t do it justice – she was stunning!

Natalie Portman chose this sweet pink dress with a rose accent to show off her growing baby bump.  What did you think of her acceptance speech?

Helena Bonham Carter is a rock star.  I love that she dresses to the beat of her own drum and doesn’t make excuses.  Only Helena could pull off two different colored shoes and make it work.  She chose this fun Vivienne Westwood dress in a pretty wild print.  What did you think of her choice?

Christina Aguilera and her new boyfriend hit the red carpet together last night to support “Burlesque”.  Is it just me or is Christina looking VERY different in the face the last few weeks? It was more noticeable when they’d show a clip of her from the movie and then pan to her face in the audience – it wasn’t just a mere difference in makeup.  Anyone with me on this?
