Isla Fisher Shares Her Thanksgiving Plans

Celebrity mom Isla Fisher shares her Thanksgiving plans and what she’s most thankful for this year.

Isla is out promoting her new film ‘Rise of the Guardians’, which hits theaters next week. She stopped by the Rachael Ray Show to chat about the upcoming holidays.

Isla on Thanksgiving:; “Well I’m Australian, and my husband Sacha (Baron Cohen) is English so… But we’ve embraced Thanksgiving. I have a lot to be grateful for I’m thankful for, because my husband no longer wears the mankini that he did in Borat so I’m very grateful this year. We’re actually going to be in London, we’re heading home to spend time with the family.”

Isla loves to cook during the holidays, “I love to cook I’m not good like you, but I enjoy cooking so, but yeah I have a meat thermometer so I make sure no one gets food poisoning, but I particularly love Mother’s Day, I think that’s very sweet. I have two kids so I think theirs nothing better than waking up to breakfast in bed, and their little faces are so cute.”

Isla, who voices the Tooth Fairy in ‘Rise of the Guardians’, on losing her teeth as a child, “I actually did tie the door to my tooth once, I really did, I put a string around my wobbly tooth then I slammed the door, it did not work, so do not try that at home.”

Isla’s favorite animated film as a child: “I always remember loving Watership Down, do you remember that? 1970’s British oh my gosh bright eyes with the bunnies over the field, but then some of them died, and I was traumatized.”

You can see the full interview on Friday, November 16th.
