Gisele Bundchen helped kick off the United Nations Millennium Developement Goals summit in NYC.
Gisele hit the red carpet last night for a good cause. She was there to help celebrate the 2010 UN MDG summit being held in New York City this week. 140 Heads of State and Government are meeting to discuss the progress in reaching the MDGs by 2015. Some of the goals they've been working hard to accomplish by that deadline are: slashing poverty, combating disease, fighting hunger, protecting the environment and boosting education.
Gisele was having a lot of fun even before the kick off got underway. She had another reason to celebrate – yesterday marked the one year anniversary of her accepting the positiion as Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations Environment Program.
