Mutiny On ‘The Biggest Loser’ Ranch

Production temporarily shuts down as the remaining contestants on ‘The Biggest Loser’ protest a game twist.

The weight loss competition show is known for its crazy twists and turns throughout each season, but it seems the showrunners have gone too far this time around. Almost all of the remaining contestants have banded together and walked off the show, threatening not to return, after it was revealed that previous contestants may be brought back to fight for the final prize of $250,000. It’s not unusual for contestants to be brought back, but it normally doesn’t happen so late in the game. Something about this particular twist really didn’t sit well with them. Production is shut down for at least a week while producers try to sort things out with the players. No word on how it will affect the rest of the show’s season.

Have you been watching the current season? I watched a few seasons of the show, including the one after Jillian Michaels left, but I missed her too much to keep going. I love Bob Harper and Alison Sweeney, but I was a die-hard fan of Jillian’s tough love.
