Having grown up in Northern California layering is second nature to me.
I would wake up in the morning to fog, by early afternoon it would be sunny and warm only to return to a chilly 55 degrees in the evening. Now that the weather has turned I find myself falling back into my layering habits. This is my perfect “go to” layering outfit for running errands, chasing after the kids and maybe sneaking in a few moments of quiet time to grab a cup of coffee.
Hue Tweed Boucle Sweater Leggings: These leggins are super comfy for chasing the kiddos but with the boucle they are stylish enough to head out in public without feeling like you are on your way to the gym.
Paige Tall Riding Boot: I love a tall flat boot for winter. These Frye boots are stylish and warm, especially with thick socks.
Long Racer Back Tank: You never know when you are going to end up at a playdate where the thermostat is set to 80, so be prepared with mulitple layers. I always have a tank underneath to to be prepared.
Easy Going Tee: This long sleeve tee from Madewell is soft enough to layer without adding bulk. I like the look of a dark or black tank under the sheer white tee.
Pointelle Cowl Wrap Cardigan: This cardigan is so cozy yet adds a feeling of chic casual to this outfit.
Knotted Blossoms Beanie: In the winter I am never without a hat because it is true what they say, heat escapes from your head. The knotted flower on this one adds just a touch a depth to an otherwise mundane accessory.
