Ginger Syrup Recipe

This simple syrup makes a great mixer for cocktails, or you can use it desserts. You can even try dribbling it over vanilla ice cream to give your treat a little kick. The recipe is super easy.


  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cut granulated sugar
  • 1 – 2 inches chopped, fresh ginger


Step 1: Combine water and sugar in a pot over llow to medium heat and simmer until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat.

Step 2: Add the fresh ginger and let steep for 10-15 minutes or to taste. 

Step 3: Cool syrup completely and store in the fridge. .
