Two years ago, we took the girls to Walt Disney World for Spring Break. My husband, my mom, and I had never been, so it was a new experience for all of us. I could tell you that just the kids were blown away, but I have to admit that even the adults in our crew were awestruck by all of the magical details.
My husband loved the thrilling attractions that I’m way too weak-stomached for. My mom appreciated all of the musicals we saw—as well as the chance to sit in air-conditioned comfort. The girls were captivated by the nighttime spectaculars and delighted in meeting their favorite characters. I really dug the relaxing vibe of Disney’s Animal Kingdom. We all had a blast on the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train at Magic Kingdom. The beautiful floral displays at Epcot and The Tree of Life at Disney’s Animal Kingdom were big hits, too.
We were so enamored that we’re returning this year to check out the attractions that have been added since our last trip. (We can’t wait to check out Pandora – The World of Avatar.) This time around, the girls have gotten very excited about helping to plan our experience. And since this will be our second visit, I know a little more about what and when to plan, schedule, and reserve all of the must-dos.
