TRON Lightcycle Opening April 4, in Walt Disney World

Walt Disney World announced that their newest and fastest roller coaster, TRON Lightcycle will open on April 4, 2023.

Based on the 1982 movie and 2012 sequel TRON: Legacy, TRON Lightcycle will transport guests into the digital world know as the Grid. In the Grid guest will race for Team Blue through eight Energy Gates to defeat Team Orange.

The attraction is similar to the TRON Lightcycle Power Run coaster located in Shanghai Disneyland. It was first announced at D23 in 2017 and has been under construction for many years.

TRON Lightcycle will officially open in Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom Park in Orlando, Florida on April 4, 2023.
