Downton Abbey’s Michelle Dockery Debuts Baby Bump In Chic Gown

Downton Abbey’s star, Michelle Dockery, announced she was pregnant by revealing her baby bump at a celebratory event. The actor arrived at the “Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale” world premiere, held at Odeon Luxe Leicester Square in London, wearing a chic blue gown. Her husband, Jasper Waller-Bridge, accompanied the 43-year-old on the red carpet. Together, they posed with beaming smiles, evidently happy to announce the new addition to their family.

A pregnant Michelle Dockery graced the world premiere of “Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale.” She showed off her baby bump in a stunning blue gown. The gown features an off-shoulder design, with a narrow band of silver beading decorating the neckline. Moreover, a cape of matching sheer fabric made up her train. The growing baby bump was visible due to the dress’s fitted tailoring, which Dockery highlighted by posing slightly on the side for photos.

Among accessories, Dockery wore drop earrings, a slim bracelet, and rings. Additionally, her hair was styled away from her face while she wore natural makeup. Waller-Bridge joined the actor in a dark suit and navy blue shirt as they posed together on the carpet.

The couple tied the knot in a private wedding ceremony in September 2023. They married at a church in West London and confirmed their engagement the previous year with an announcement in The Times. Despite Dockery’s knack for privacy, she has previously been honest and open about past loss.

She was previously engaged to public relations executive John Dineen, who passed away in 2015. In an interview with The Guardian in 2017, Dockery admitted she considered herself a “widow,” adding, “That’s the first time I’ve said that, and it’s a bit of a relief to say so.”

With Michelle Dockery pregnant and the success of “Downton Abbey,” exposing her baby bump became a double feat. It celebrated a beloved period drama and the start of a new chapter for the actor and Waller-Bridge.
