These White Chocolate S’mores With Strawberries Are So Delish

  • Classic s’mores are delish, but here’s a new idea to try: White Chocolate S’mores With Strawberries. Using white chocolate instead of dark, with the addition of juicy strawberries, makes for such a refreshing summer treat. (Yes, the graham crackers and toasted marshmallows are the same in this fresh twist on s’mores as they are in the classic favorite.) All of the flavors blend together beautifully, and the little hint of tartness from the strawberries cuts through the sweetness in the other ingredients. Let them cook, stirring every minute or so, for about 5 minutes. Just long enough to soften them. (Let them cool to room temperature before completing step 3.)

Step 3: Place about 4 squares of the white chocolate on half of the graham cracker halves. Then use a slotted spoon to equally divide the cooled strawberries on top of the white chocolate.

Step 4: Place each marshmallow on a skewer.  Either hold the marshmallow over the camp fire, or over a high flame on your stove. Turn the skewer as you cook them to be sure they roast evenly. (If they catch fire, it's okay!  Just blow them out quickly.)

Step 5: Then place a roasted marshmallow on top of the strawberries.

Step 6: Close each s'more with the remaining graham cracker halves and serve!
