Everyone loves cats but you know what they say: too much of a good thing is er, a bad thing. With that in mind, the Meibu housing complex in Fukuoka, Japan has taken great pains to compose the rather wordy sign above, advising visitors and residents alike to not feed any stray cats ‘cuz, like, that will lead to more stray cats and more feeding and… you can do the math. What’s that, you were told there’d be no math? Dude, just don’t feed the stray cats and it won’t become an issue, mmkay? (image above via halfrain)

Do you want strays? Because not fencing your animals in is how you get strays. Truth be told, a 10km (or 5km, depending on which of the above signs you believe) fence don’t exactly cost chicken feed. Better to let the critters go all “free range” – healthier for us, not so much for them – and let passing drivers keep an eye on ’em for you. Brilliant! (image above via Antonio Olmedo)
