Singapore has a reputation for cleanliness – enforced or not – and the point of this “Recycle Point” of eye-catching recycle bins is to emphasize how serious the Southeast Asian nation-state is about green living. Installed in the Arrival Hall at Station 4 in Changi Airport, the bins employ clever visual imagery to convey their chosen recyclables regardless of what language airport visitors may speak. That’s particularly fitting since keeping public places and spaces clean should be a universal pursuit.
