Aozita Stackable Egg Steamer
With a 14-egg capacity and two different stacking options, the Aozita Stackable Egg Steamer comes first on our list.
Find on Amazon
Most people don’t get excited about egg steamers, but we’re not like most people. The Aozita Stackable Egg Steamer is a durable, stainless-steel rack that fits perfectly in your Instant Pot, providing space to steam 14 eggs at once – or if you need less than 7 eggs steamed, you can use it as an egg and vegetable steamer simultaneously. What we prefer about the Aozita Stackable Egg Steamer over silicone egg-steamer designs is the greater amount of surface area that’s exposed to steam. Some silicone steamers can cover half the egg or more, while the Aozita’s wire frame keeps most of the egg in the open, allowing for more even temperature distribution. That’s a whole lot of science for just an egg steamer, but as we said, we’re into that.
- No-risk warranty
- Use as a cooling rack, too
- Functions as a base for serving tray
- Dual rack not designed for 3-quart models
- No handle
Aozita Stackable Steamer Insert

Though it may seem counterintuitive to use an entire Instant Pot as just a steamer, it’s actually one of the appliance’s best uses. Why? Because its shape is perfect for stackable steamer inserts, like this 3-quart wonder from Aozita. Consisting of two stackable containers that can cook different foods at the same time, The Aozita Stackable Steamer Insert is the perfect way to cook an entire meal at once. In addition, the containers can be used to cook more than vegetables, rice, and salmon: use them to make cornbread, lasagne, and even cheesecake. The easy-lift safety handle makes removing the steamer a breeze, while the stainless steel insert pans ensure that your food’s quality is never compromised.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which accessories do you get when you buy an Instant Pot?
Almost none. We’ve found models that come with a small steaming rack and a silicone ring. Others don’t come with even that much.
What about these all-in-one accessory packages that are available? Shouldn’t I just get one of those?
We think there are two good reasons not to. First, you could be over-paying for items you simply don’t need. If you’re allergic to eggs, why are you buying a package with an egg holder included, for example? Secondly, the dozen or so accessories that come in the package may not be of the best quality. We believe in finding the specific, high-quality products you need for your Instant Pot, not just the cheapest.
Is there a big difference between an Instant Pot and a regular slow-cooker?
There are a few major differences, mostly in cooking temperature and heating speed. A slow-cooker is just that: an appliance designed to slowly rise to a temperature that optimizes tenderness by cooking food slowly. An Instant Pot can do this as well, but it can also rise to 450 degrees quickly, which makes it capable of acting as a kind of backup oven. It also has pressure-cooking options, making it what amounts to a “fast-cooker.” It simply has a lot more versatility than your mother’s Crock-Pot.
