“Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to confirm they are expecting a baby in April 2015,” said a statement released from Kensington Palace on Monday, October 20.
The baby will join big brother Prince George, whom the couple welcomed in July 2013.
The palace statement also noted that Kate “continues to be affected by Hyperemesis Gravidarum, but her condition is steadily improving.”
On Tuesday, Kate will join William to welcome President Tony Tan Keng Yam of Singapore to London, according to People. The event marks the first time the Duchess has been seen officially since her pregnancy was announced September 8.
