Nicki Minaj says her son helped her worry less
During a Vogue interview, Nicki Minaj explained what her son, Papa Bear, taught her. The rapper confessed to walking up to her son daily, which she said instantly puts her in a great mood. She noted how people are in a constant state of worry about the things they have to do even before getting out of bed. The mother of one also recalled being in that state, but she said it changed for her after her son’s birth.
Explaining how she needs to show gratitude towards her son, Minaj said, “When I see him, he’s just so sweet, so I have no choice but to light up when I see him.” She further remembered being able to write her last album, “Pink Friday 2,” to maintain its “standards,” and keep her fans more than satisfied — all because she “stopped all of that worrying.”
Her son’s presence enables Minaj to live a peaceful life. She comments, “Whatever you do in life, the moment you let go, it’s the moment that everything comes to you.” The singer also admitted facing writer’s block after having her son. She noted that it was “challenging” for her to complete the song “Seeing Green” feat. Drake and Lil Wayne. Although she finished it, the singer realized how having a baby would alter her brain chemistry.

In other news, the artist recently celebrated her son’s birthday. She took to Instagram to wish him while sharing a carousel of pictures and videos of his four-year journey with his parents.
