Supplies:

  • tinsel (I bought one long piece from Target)
  • styrofoam wreath (mine is a 10 inch wreath, but you can use any size you like)

Directions:

Step 1: Start by wrapping one end of your tinsel around your foam wreath.

Step 2: Just keep wrapping your tinsel, spreading it out to cover your wreath, until your wreath is covered or you are out of tinsel. You can always spread it out or bunch it up, depending on how you like it.

Step 4: Tuck the second end of the tinsel under the other wrapped tinsel to secure it in place.

Step 5: You can either hang the wreath as is, by pushing a hook or nail into the styrofoam, or you can tie on something to hang it, like my sequin ribbon. Tie the length you want around your wreath and secure it with a knot.

Then you just need a place to hang it. Ours is on our front door, but you could also hang it on your mantle or a wall that needs some holiday cheer.
