On January 12th, 2011, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, in cooperation with the two companies named below, announced a voluntary recall of 5 different models of ski bindings (one shown above) because of a potential fall hazard.
What does this mean for you?
Consumers should immediately stop using these bindings as there is the potential for the steel springs in the heels of the bindings to break and cause a fall.
What should you do if you own or have purchased any one of these 5 models of ski bindings?
The five recalled models are as follows: Marker 12.0 TC Comp EPS/white and red, Marker 12.0 Free with 90mm or 110 mm ski brake/black, Marker rMotion 12.0 D/white and red, Kastle K12 KTI or Kastle K12 CTI with 90mm or 110 mm ski brake.
