You probably know by now, that I’m an avid bicycle enthusiast, so I’m totally taken in with the fixed gear, or single speed, bicycling craze that’s been growing worldwide. More commonly known as Fixies, what I love about these bikes is their sheer simplicity and the way their design harkens back to the pure essence of where cycling began.  And what could be wrong with something that offers you’re a clean source of transportation that’s not only good for the environment, but is also a great way to help keep your body healthy too.  Right now, I’m lusting after The India, because I love the rich sunny yellow color of its rims, contrasted against its stealth matte-black frame. So if you’ve been kicking around the idea of investing in a new bike for yourself, the 4th of July will give you the opportunity to break in these new wheels and kick up your cardio at the same time.

If you’re headed for the lake, this Sea Eagle Kayak will provide hours of fun for the whole family. And unlike many other kayaks, its not problematic to transport, since it’s portable and fully inflatable in almost no time with its accompanying foot pump.  It’s also fairly easy to maneuver, so even the kids can join in taking turns to help paddle it around the lake.
