Deliciously Cheesy Skillet BBQ Chicken Nachos

With the Super Bowl coming up soon, it’s the perfect time to plan out snacks for a game day party! Not a football fan? There are plenty of other reasons to make nachos; it’s cold out, your family is in a snacking mood, it’s Sunday. You get the idea. Nachos are a classic snack, but adding something like shredded BBQ chicken can take them to the next level (dare I say, classy nachos?) and make them the centerpiece of your snack table. These easy BBQ chicken nachos have layers of chips, BBQ chicken, cheese and onion melted together with tangy BBQ sauce. Cooked in the oven, they’re easy to assemble and serve to a large crowd, but I can admit I ate a whole skillet all by myself too…

Make the BBQ chicken however you’d like! I find that the easiest way is to cook it in my Crock Pot, shred it and use it for nachos as well as a set of BBQ chicken sliders (a favorite in my house). It reheats or freezes well once cooked, so the more leftovers, the better. Otherwise, you can use rotisserie chicken or cubed oven-baked chicken and toss it with BBQ sauce for all the same flavor!

Add any additional toppings your family loves, like tomato, bacon or avocado. With these nachos, more is more.
