Samuel L. Jackson Kindly Reminds Us to Stay the ‘F**k At Home’

Parents everywhere are overwhelmed with homeschooling, making five meals a day and trying to get work done from home. And while the occasional glass of wine helps take the edge off, so does a profanity laced poem read by Samuel L. Jackson. The underlying theme of said poem? “Stay the f–k at home.”

The notoriously foul-mouthed actor read a new poem by the author of ‘Go the F— to Sleep’ during an appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” on Tuesday night and instead of telling the kids to get their jammies on and to go to bed, he’s imploring folks to stay home and help flatten the curve of the COVID-19 pandemic in his own very special way. Think of it as NSFW PSA.

“The ‘rona is spreading. That s—t is no joke,” Jackson read. “It’s no time to work or roam. The way you can fight it is simple my friends, just stay the f—k at home.”

The poem goes on to urge people to skip going to the casino and seeing friends, and thanks everyone for “doing your part to flatten the curve because that shit is steep.”

The ‘Snakes On a Plane’ star’s performance also fundraised for the charity Feeding America, part of a series of charitable fundraisers Kimmel has organized while broadcasting from his own home amid social distancing orders and a moratorium on live audiences for late-night programs.

A word of advice – don’t watch with the kids in the room unless you want to explain to folks why your kids are saying things like, “MF it’s no time to gamble, look around you’re not at a casino. Just stay at home as if your name was Quentin Quarnatino.” You’re welcome.
