Reality Stars Joe And Teresa Giudice Plead Not Guilty To 39 Counts Of Fraud

Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice and her husband Joe were spotted making their way into the courthouse in New Jersey.

Teresa and her husband have been indicted on 39 counts of fraud (dating all the way back to 2001) – including conspiracy to commit mail fraud and wire fraud, bank fraud, loan application fraud, bankruptcy fraud, bankruptcy fraud – concealment, bankruptcy fraud – false oaths, bankruptcy fraud – false declarations, and Joe is also charged with failure to make tax return for the years of 2004-2008.  The charges are serious and the couple could be facing more than 50 years in prison for each one!  Also at stake: Joe’s right to stay in the United States. The reality star is not a U.S. citizen, therefore could face deportation.

The couple appeared in court with their attorneys this morning to plead “not guilty” to all of the charges.  Teresa and Joe will head to trial on October 8th at 9 a.m.
