Run by Mexico’s Habita hotel group and catered by the Culinary Arts School of Tijuana, the Eco Hotel is located in Valle de Guadalape, about an hour south of the U.S. border. Each cube measures just 65 square feet, but the space is more than made up for by the incredible vistas of the valley below.

The cubes include double beds, small seating areas and their own private restroom facilities. pre-fabricated and elevated on stilts, the cabins were constructed of durable materials that will age naturally over time, allowing them to blend with the grass and boulders of the hillside.

Though they’re located on a 40-acre complex that also includes a winery and a residential area, the cubes feel remote and private. Shared amenities include a beautiful pool and hot tub.
