I love setting tables - pretty place settings get me excited. I am always on the look out for ideas to make my dinner table look special while using ordinary stuff - tablecloths, placemats, and simple plates. 

Starburst mirrors are very popular in decorating right now - you see them on the pages of decorating magazines, catalogs, and furniture stores. 

Recently when I was browsing through my local Pottery Barn I came across a window treatment that I loved but was a bit too costly for my budget. When I looked closer, I thought it would be so easy to make myself at a fraction of the cost and without sewing a stitch. 

Pantone – the foremost authority on color has proclaimed Honeysuckle pink as its “2011 Color of the Year”.  Pink is hot right now, we are seeing a whole rich spectrum of it – everywhere and more than just one hue.
