Dog Paddling in Style

Some dogs just have it in their genes to be born swimmers, so they’re always the first ones into the pool. Or maybe you have a dog that isn’t necessarily genetically predisposed to being a swimmer, but they love being in the water anyway.

Whichever way it is, if your dog loves to swim, it’s likely you’re already well aware of it, so you might as well have a few toys and accessories to support their enthusiasm for the water. Keep in mind that no dog should ever be left unattended while in or around a body of water, especially if you’re unsure or unfamiliar with their swimming abilities. And if you have a new puppy or dog, you should always consult with your Veterninarian first to get information about allowing them to swim and then you can then read up on some methods and pointers for teaching your dog to swim.

If you aren’t lucky enough to have a pool or body of water available at your disposal, these Pet Wading Pools are the next  best thing on a hot summer day. They’re made of the same material they use to make truckbed liners, so they’re rugged enough to withstand a little rough housing with fido, yet they will also stay cool during hot weather. The bone pool has a brass drain that makes it easy to drain, and its chew and UV resistant too.
