Sterling Vineyards Sauvignon Blanc Review

Just because it is chilly and cold outside doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy a nice crisp glass of white wine every once in awhile.

Especially sitting in front of the warm fireplace. We recently enjoyed Sterling Vineyards 2009 Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc. It was crisp, refreshing and nicely balanced. For $10-$14 a bottle, it is an excellent choice for your weeknight wine.

I loved sipping on this wine while I cooked dinner and also enjoyed it paired with my Vegetable Yellow Curry. This Sauvignon Blanc has zesty citrus notes as well as tropical notes, creating a balanced crisp wine. As a very food-friendly wine, this wine is an excellent aperitif, or what I like to call an excellent sipper. It also pairs nicely with spicy appetizers, goat cheese, salads, pasta primavera, and seafood and poultry dishes.

So, what are you waiting for? Run out and grab a bottle and enjoy this bright, crisp Sauvignon Blanc!
