There is something so sweet about baby chicks in the Springtime or for Easter Celebrations. We don’t actually buy the live ones, of course, but I tend to go a little crazy with our baby chick cookie cutter around this time of year.
What’s not to love about little chick-size bites? To make the pancakes I use homemade pancake mix. Then I a swirl in some softened cream cheese and lemon zest!
- One batch homemade pancakes
- 2. 2 ounces softened cream cheese
When you make the pancake mix, stir in the softened cream cheese with a whisk. Do the best you can to break up the cream cheese, it may still be slightly clumpy.
Prepare the pancakes according to directions, then cut out the pancakes into little chick shapes. Enjoy!
