The "Beautiful Creatures" star says that just three weeks after praying for a good man, she met her soul mate in Julian. Viola shared, "I was the loneliest woman in the world, and someone said, 'You should just pray for a husband.'" And she did just that. "I said I wanted a big black man from the South who looked like a football player, who already had children, who maybe had been married before. Three and a half weeks later, I met my husband."
Julian was a single dad of two sons when they met on the set of City of Angels, "He was the anesthesiologist, Dr. Holly, and I was Nurse Lannett. We were passing blood in a scene. He knew how lonely I was. I was out in L.A. and I hated it and he said, 'I'll show you around Los Angeles. I'll show you around the Santa Monica pier."
The two have been married for nine years (and are now the parents of a two year old daughter) and Viola says it was magical from the first moment. "We've been together thirteen years, and from the first day, it was magic."
Viola and Julian will celebrate their tenth wedding anniversary in June!
