Singer Ashlee Simpson and actor Vincent Piazza have quietly ended their relationship.

Ashlee and Vincent, star of Boardwalk Empire, started dating in June of 2011 and kept things as under the radar as they could. They recently broke things off, according to Us Weekly, citing distance as the reason for the breakup. "There was no bad blood and no third party involved. It was honestly just a long distance relationship and it became too hard to make it work. It's not necessarily forever and they could get back together. Nobody is to blame. Just the distance." Ashlee was seen recently enjoying a joint birthday party for her son Bronx, with her ex-husband Pete Wentz and his girlfriend, Meagan Camper.
