Brad Pitt is at the Cannes Film Festival to promote his upcoming film “The Tree of Life”.
Brad shared that taking on the role was a leap for him and took into consideration what his kid would think because he had to play a strict and overbearing father in it. “I think of everything I do now that my kids are going to see when they grow up and how are they going to feel. But they know me as a dad and I hope they’ll just think of me as a pretty damn good actor.”
Brad admitted that his own childhood had some areas that he feels had some issues. “I got brought up being told things were God’s way, and when things didn’t work out it was called God’s plan. I’ve got my issues with it. Don’t get me started. I found it very stifling.”
Brad and Angelina Jolie brought their six kids along to Cannes since they’re both promoting new films (Angelina is doing press for “Kung Fu Panda 2”. )
