Kelly Clarkson Reveals Baby #2’s Gender

The “American Idol” alum and mom to 16-month-old daughter, River Rose, announced the gender of her second baby via Instagram on Friday, October 23, 2015.

“In other news, River’s gonna have a little baby brother,” wrote Clarkson, 33. “#itsaboy We’re so excited!”

The singer announced her second pregnancy at a concert in LA this past August. “I was not planning on announcing this but I’m totally pregnant,” she told her fans. “I didn’t want you to think I was on pills or something! Everything is great. I haven’t vomited yet, that’s a win!”

Clarkson and Blackstock got married on a farm in Tennessee in October 2013. The baby boy will be their second child together; additionally, Blackstock has two kids from a previous marriage.
