The Voice’s Cee Lo Green Facing Four Years In Prison!

Cee Lo Green, mentor on the hit reality competition The Voice, is facing up to four years in prison after being charged with a felony count of supplying an uncontrolled substance.

Back in July of 2012, Cee Lo had dinner with a woman in L.A. and slipped her ecstasy without her knowledge.  They later went back to the woman’s hotel room.

Cee Lo was initially accused of rape of an intoxicated person, but prosecutors  declined to file a sexual assault charge, citing insufficient evidence.

His attorney shared,  “We are pleased that the Los Angeles County District Attorney has completed its investigation and concluded that the evidence did not support the false and unfounded claims made over a year ago. As it relates to the one charge of furnishing or sharing ecstasy, Mr. Green will responsibly address that matter in a court of law.”

Cee Lo’s bail was set at $30,000.  If he does serve jail time, it’s unclear how it will impact his role on The Voice.
