DIY: Valentine’s Day Straws

Valentine's Day Straws

Valentine's Day is almost here, and we are pretty excited about it! If you are throwing a little breakfast or party for the kids, these Valentine's Day straws would be the perfect way to add some love to your festivities! They are super easy to make, and you most likely already have all of the supplies around the house!

Supplies:

  • Cardboard
  • Duct tape
  • Scissors
  • Hole punch
  • Heart punch

Instructions:

Step 1: Use the heart punch to cut out your hearts. Or if you don't have one, you can easily create a heart template and trace that onto the cardboard, then cut it out.

Step 2: Cover the hearts with duct tape. Make sure they are covered well enough to cover up any designs that might have been on the cardboard.

Step 3: Grab your scissors and trim off all of the excess duct tape around the edges.

Step 4: Next, use the hole punch to punch a few holes in the center of the hearts. I had to do three semi-overlapping holes to make the holes large enough for the straws to fit through. And you're done!
