DIY: Scratch-Off Pumpkins

Supplies:

• cardboard
• assortment of spray paint (preferably gold and orange or red and pink)
• chalkboard paint
• paper clip (or something small and sharp)
• newspaper (or something to protect your surface)

Instructions:

Step 1: Lay out newspaper to protect your surface and place you sheet on cardboard on top of it.

Step 2: Spray paint your piece of cardboard with strips of color. Let dry completely.

Step 3: Once dry, spray paint the whole cardboard in chalkboard paint. If you don't have chalkboard paint, use black paint.

Step 4: Give the paper clip to your child and have him scratch off a jack-o-lantern design into the cardboard with the paper clip!
