I can't tell you how often, on a cool winter evening, I am craving a nice bowl of healthy, hearty, hot soup!  OK, I'll tell you . . . all the time!  And this Simple Broccoli Soup is perfect!
 

I have plenty of complicated recipes I can turn to for dinner, but I often go to this simple one in a pinch. It is so satisfying and quick and easy to make, plus the kids always love it.

I'll be the first to admit, sometimes I serve breakfast for dinner. My mother did it before me, and my grandmother before that.
